Project Overview
A mission-critical infrastructure monitoring platform providing real-time visibility of generation capacity, plant status, and power flows across Sahel Power’s portfolio of plants in 5 countries — connecting over 200 grid data sources.
The Challenge
Sahel Power had no centralised visibility of its generation fleet. Plant data arrived via email 24–48 hours late. Operations teams could not see plant status across sites in real time. Outage root-cause analysis took days, and there was no system for capacity planning or aggregated reporting to the board, lenders, and investors.
Our Solution
We designed and deployed a real-time monitoring platform with automated IoT data ingestion from 200+ generation and transmission nodes, a live portfolio power map, per-plant generation dashboards, energy flow visualisation, automated outage detection and alert routing, and a scheduled reporting engine producing board-grade and lender-ready reports.
